The National Weather Channel says

"The tropics remain relatively quiet. A disturbance in the central Pacific is being watched."

Good thing we are going to the Atlantic!! :)
Our vacation usually falls during #1) Hurricane season and #2) The Discovery Channel's Shark Week. This year, I think it is officially safe to say we are avoiding both!! No major hurricanes are in sight and Shark Week starts August 2nd.

Thank goodness!
