Levi's first bus ride

This weekend was Sellersburg Celebrates. We had so much fun as a family. Friday night, we went to walk around the booths, eat yummy carnival food and watch the balloon glow. Eric rode a ride called the Gravitron (spins you round and round) and had some roasted corn on the cob. Levi and I split an ice cream cone. Saturday morning was the Sellersburg Parade. Eric was in charge of getting 500 kids from the middle school to the start of the parade, so he and several other people bussed them over. This was Levi's first time on a bus and he was in heaven! If you've spent much time around him AT ALL, you know of his love for school buses!! He was on cloud nine. I added in a couple of pictures of Levi's favorite things at the parade...a firetruck, a tractor and a horse. He also loved the people that tossed candy to him. :)

Adult Night Out

Last weekend was adult night out. No kids!! We almost don't know what to do with ourselves! Several people had to cancel for different reasons (you know who you are!!!) but we still had fun. We went to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner. It was yummy! Matt showed up late and, of course, added a nice ambiance to the meal. LOL

Fun with Friends...

A few weekends ago, Pam invited us over for a cookout. It was so much fun. Brigette and the boys were there and brought their new dog Katie. Levi fell in love with Katie and by the end of the evening, I don't know who was more pooped!! Pam fixed some ginormous burgers, chips and dip, steamed veggies & corn on the cob (from B's garden!!), and Emma fixed a caramel cake. It was awesome!! We had so much fun hanging out with everyone. Water Fun

Tonight, we went to Grammy & Papa's pool and Gretchen, Pierce & Hope met us there. We had a good time. Levi went down the slide once and Pierce jumped in the pool over and over again!! He's doing so great around the water. Hopie just sat in the "crab" and was pretty content watching the boys play and looking for birds and airplanes. Thanks, Gretchen for bringing the kids over. We had a good time and Levi was so excited to see Pierce!Gretchen is modeling for the camera.

The Merry-go-round...

We went to church this morning. Levi hadn't been in two weeks because of vacation, so he was upset when I took him to class. Actually, it was a little more than upset...more like crying, clinging and pleading. A mom's nightmare! It's hard to leave them when they do that. But, I did and he ended up being fine. After church, he was happy-go-lucky and I kept reminding him all day of how much fun he had. Hopefully that will carry into next week!

Tonight, we met Gretchen, Pierce and Hope at the park for a little while. Pierce pushed us all on the "go round and round" as Levi calls it. Is that child slavery to have a 3 year old do that? LOL Here are a couple pictures of the child slave! :)
